NEW PROJECT – ELSTERNWICK

This project, designed by OFTB Landscape Architecture, is composed of a pool, spa and surrounding landscape. The pool plays an important role in the design, connecting the house with the landscape both physically and visually through acrylic windows at either end of the pool. From the cinema room it is possible to view the entertaining lounge through 10 metres of water whilst a staircase from the pool deck to the entertaining lounge passes through an acrylic panel providing steps both in the water and out. The bold, linear, masculine lines of the design further emphasises this already strong relationship with the house both architecturally and functionally. View project images here.

NEW PROJECT – GEELONG

As OFTB Landscape Architecture designed the pool, landscape and all buildings within the project the opportunity was taken to integrate the pool with the buildings in a manner that otherwise would have been very difficult. As a result, a unique integration is achieved between the pool, a single storey garage/gym, a pool house as well as a feature wall that shares one side of the pool with the gym. A childrens garden and outdoor entertaining area complete the design ensuring the project is not short of function. This project pushes the boundaries of pool design and landscape architecture forcing us to reconsider where it ends and architecture begins. View project images here.

NEW PROJECT – GLEN IRIS

This pool has been customised to enable greater use of the surrounding landscape without being restricted to the level changes on the property. Rather than simply implement a set of steps from house level to the garden, a series of terraces have been designed at a number of different levels that ultimately provide a different function in each. The pool terrace, at mid level, is set up as an escape or refuge from the living areas of the house rather than an extension of it whilst the entertaining area at the upper level includes built in seating and a bbq. OFTB Landscape Architecture has complimented these spaces with a lawn on the lower level as well as ample garden beds at all levels. View project images here.
